Health and Safety Information for the Eclipse Event on April 8, 2024

General:

1. Expect crowds, delays, and increased traffic from Thursday, April 5, 2024, through Monday, April 8, 2024.

2. Use 911 for emergencies only. For information, visit official websites or call non-emergency numbers.

3. If calling 911 doesn't work, try texting 911 and provide specific information.

4. Stay tuned to local radio stations K-Lake 97.7, Star Country 96.9, or 100.5 for important updates.

5. Never look directly at the sun without ISO-rated eye protection. Regular sunglasses will not protect your eyes and can cause permanent damage.
